Finding Ship Lists and Port Information

There were a significant number of immigrants who entered the country from Canada. The United States did not keep records of these entries until 1895. In Minnesota, these entry points included Duluth, International Falls, Warroad, and Ranier. These lists are available on microfilm in a collection called the St. Albans Lists. These microfilms are available at the National Archives, the LDS Family History Library, and possibly other genealogical libraries.
